Meeting and course organizers: if you wish to have your neuropathology meeting or course announced here, please contact the Euro-CNS Office
13-16 March 2018, Aachen, Germany
European Basic Course in Neuropathology. The program consists of teaching sessions in the mornings, and sessions with gross neuropathology and histology (slide viewing and case discussions) in the afternoons. Please see our Course page for details.
27-29 June 2018, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Euro-CNS Continued Medical Education: Course on Developmental Neuropathology. This course and workshop will provide practising (neuro)pathologists, clinicians and researchers with up-to-date reviews of the classification and the diagnostic problems in the pathology of neurodevelopmental diseases. Please visit our course page for details.
7-11 July 2018, Berlin, Germany
The 11th FENS Forum of Neuroscience will be held in Berlin from 7-11 July. The FENS Forum is the largest Neuroscience event in Europe.
23-27 September 2018, Tokyo, Japan
XIXth International Congress of Neuropathology, hosted by the Japanese Society of Neuropathology. Theme: ‘A gateway to modern neuroscience’. The congress will be held at Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo, which is a perfect starting point for exploring the delights of the city of Tokyo, only 5-minute walk from Shinjuku Station, the most popular shopping and entertainment spots. Detailed Congress information on the scientific program, abstract submission and registration will be available soon. Watch the promotional video here.
3-15 October 2018, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Euro-CNS Continued Medical Education: Course on Tumours of the Central Nervous System. The program covers the 2016 update of the WHO classification (typing and grading) of CNS tumors, supplemented by lectures on clinical and neuroradiological aspects, and molecular diagnostics relevant for daily clinical practice. The lectures will be given by a group of well known surgical neuropathologists. Histological slides of the whole spectrum of CNS tumors are available, and multiple time slots are planned for personal practical exercise as well as for interaction with the experts. For details please visit our course page.
3-6 June 2020, Odense, Denmark
12th European Congress of Neuropathology, organized by Euro-CNS in conjunction with the Scandinavian Neuropathological Society (SNS). The congress will focus on molecular mechanisms explaining pathological and clinical manifestations of neurological diseases. An important issue will be the integration of novel molecular technologies into neuropathology. The scientific program will include lectures by top scientists about cutting-edge technologies and workshops focusing on the practical approach in an innovative interactive way. The local organizing committee and the scientific committee will be comprised of members of the Scandinavian Neuropathological Society, supported by an international scientific advisory board. As soon as a congress website becomes available, we will announce it here.
